Ondas Networks To Present New Channel Aggregation Capabilities for Mission Critical Applications at UTC Telecom & Technology Conference 2019
SUNNYVALE, Calif., June 18, 2019 — Ondas Holdings Inc., (OTCQB: ONDS) through its wholly owned subsidiary, Ondas Networks Inc., a developer of private licensed wireless data networks for mission-critical industrial markets, today announced that it will be highlighting its new spectrum channel aggregation capabilities for higher throughput Mission Critical IoT applications at the UTC Telecom & Technology Conference in Fort Worth, Texas from June 17-21, 2019.
The Company’s FullMAX platform, which provides private, licensed wireless connectivity for mission critical IoT (MC-IoT) applications, will now offer utilities and other mission critical entities in the utility, rail, transportation, oil and gas and government sectors the ability to aggregate non-adjacent channels. With this capability, utilities will be able to create private networks, capable of handling increased MC-IoT data communications, while still benefiting from the security, reliability and availability of licensed spectrum.
Many utilities today already own or have access to licensed narrow channels in VHF and UHF LMR and MAS bands, which are lightly used or underutilized. Ondas Networks’ FullMAX platform is enabling utilization of non-adjacent spectrums to bond existing narrow channels together, creating a broadband channel with higher throughput.
“The grid is becoming increasingly intelligent with sensors collecting copious amount of data at the edge, however, access to licensed spectrum that is large enough to support increased data communication has been both expensive and limited,” said Kathy Nelson, Director of Technical Product Marketing and Industry Relations at Ondas Networks. “With our FullMAX private licensed wireless network technology’s ability to aggregate channels and frequencies that utilities already own, for the creation of an intelligent grid network, we are providing a solution that is both secure and scalable. We’re look forward to presenting this new capability as a more effective approach to grid modernization at the UTC conference this year.
Ondas Networks will be presenting on their FullMAX technology and the IEEE 802.16s Narrow Band WiMAX Standard on Wednesday, June 19 at 9:20am on the Business Drivers of Telecom Infrastructure track.
